How do you tell the story of the Exodus through music? What can you discover through ancient historical maps? And what happens when children create their own story inspired by centuries-old illustrations?
During the Passover holiday, the National Library of Israel will take children ages 5-10 on a fascinating creative journey called Haggadot Stories – a unique family experience that invites children and parents to discover the power of storytelling through three experiential stations that unveil rare treasures presented especially for the holiday.
Station 1
Children immerse themselves in an original and exciting musical story, listening to an innovative musical work that tells the story of Moses using various musical instruments.
Station 2
Children walk on a giant map the size of an entire room! During their walk, they decipher encrypted puzzles and discover how a journey that took place thousands of years ago has been preserved and documented in various forms throughout the generations.
Station 3
Children create a personal story from the world's largest collection of Haggadot, which is preserved at the National Library of Israel.
