First Rain
Summer is over, Fall has passed, Winter is here and there’s not even a single rain cloud in the sky. Nicodemus wants to give water to the people, so he agrees to sign a dubious agreement with the ruler. When time passes and the rain does not come, the ruler arrives at Nicodemus’ house and demands his share. Nicodemus tries to hold on to faith in goodness, but the longer the rain lingers, the harder it is for him to keep hoping.
