Mozart & Mendelssohn, July 8, 5pm

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was only 6 years old when he went on his first concert tour, and Felix Mendelssohn became known for his musical talent at the age of 9. The two musical prodigies became over the years two of the most important composers in history, which every lover of classical music must know.The Jerusalem Street Orchestra comes to the National Library Garden to revive the magical sounds of Mozart and Mendelssohn, alongside other favorite songs. Peter & The Wolf, July 15, 5pm

Peter and grandfather live in a small house near the clearing. Peter’s friends also live in the yard: a duck, a cat and a small bird. But the peace is threatened to be disturbed by the evil wolf. Will Peter manage to capture the wolf and save his friends? The Jerusalem Street Orchestra comes to the library garden to perform the piece, in which the musical instruments are also the characters in the story. Narrator: Omri Peled

Israeli Melody, July 22, 5pm

A concert for the whole family in the garden of the National Library. The Jerusalem Street Orchestra invites you to a celebration of Israeli songs in original arrangements, written especially for the orchestra. Join us in the library garden for a cruise among local musical treasures – from Naomi Shemer to Mashina.
