The Jerusalem Film Festival will present a rich artistic program in honor of its 41st year including more than 200 films from 50 countries, dozens of festive premieres of the outstanding Israeli films of the year, as well as films that have won leading festivals in the world, including Berlin, Cannes, Venice, Sundance and others.
During the festival, there will be celebratory premiere screenings, award-winning film competitions with international judging teams, meetings with filmmakers from Israel from all over the world, and more.
Opening Screening at Sultan’s Pool
The festival will open with a special screening of Thelma, staring June Squibb, at Sultan’s Pool for 6000 viewers on July 18th. When 93-year-old Thelma Post gets duped by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson, she sets out on a treacherous quest across the city to reclaim what was taken from her.
Thelma premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 18, 2024. It was released in movie theaters across the the United States by Magnolia Pictures on June 21, 2024 and is scheduled to be released in the United Kingdom on July 19, 2024.

After a great flood, a Cat finds refuge on a boat populated by various species and will have to team up with them despite their differences. In the lonesome boat sailing through mystical overflowed landscapes, they navigate the challenges and dangers of adapting to this new world.
Tatami (English, Hebrew subtitles)
Midway through the Judo World Championships, Iranian female judo fighter Leila and her coach Maryam receive an ultimatum from the Islamic Republic ordering Leila to fake an injury and lose, lest she be branded a traitor of the state.
The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan (French, Hebrew subtitles)
The first part of the most recent adaptation to Dumas’s classic novel. Young D’Artagnan is left for dead after trying to save a young woman. When he arrives in Paris, he tries to find his attackers, unaware that his quest will lead him to the heart of a real war where the future of France is at stake.
The Three Musketeers: Milady (French, Hebrew subtitles)
The second part of the most recent adaptation to Dumas’s classic novel. D’Artagnan is forced to join forces with Milady to save Constance, who was kidnapped before his eyes. But as war is declared and Athos, Porthos, and Aramis join the front, a secret from the past shatters old alliances.
