Don’t miss the chance to be part of Israel’s premier table tennis competition in memory of Ben Zussman z’l, a 22-year-old soldier who was killed on December 3, 2023, while fighting Hamas terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip.
The event takes place at the Arena in Jerusalem with multiple games occurring simultaneously. Come and cheer on our local champions.
Ben Zussman Z’L
Ben Zussman was a reservist in the IDF who voluntarily served after Oct 7 to join the fight to defend his beloved country.
Long before Ben became a combat soldier, he was an avid and nationally ranked table tennis athlete. Ben started playing table tennis at the age of 9 and quickly became known in Jerusalem. Years later he started to play in the Israeli championship.
No matter how much Ben wanted to win the tournament, his passion for success never came at the expense of treating his opponent with respect (and very often deep friendship). This year’s National Championship will be a special tribute and a unique way of honoring Ben’s memory.
