The Great Watch Robbery (guided tour and lecture) returns to the Museum of Islamic Art for a short time!

In April 1983, one of the boldest robbery cases that Israel has ever known took place. Over a hundred valuable watches with a value ranging from tens to hundreds of millions of dollars were stolen from the Museum of Islamic Art in Jerusalem. 23 years of searches by the police, private investigators and international bodies have not yielded a clue. Until….

A fascinating tour and lecture in which the participants will hear in detail about the mystery of the theft of the watch collection: from the night of the burglary to the museum, through the long years of investigation to the long-awaited breakthrough that led to the discovery of the thief, to tracing the watches that were scattered around the world to their return to the museum.
