ZER0 | 1NE, Israel’s premier digital arts festival is back at the Tower of David, exploring the connection between art, technology, myth and magic. It’s a three-day festival with lectures, exhibits, installations and performances that will take place both on line and physically at the Tower of David Museum. The festival puts Artificial Intelligence (AI) front and center bringing some of the best AI artists from Israel and Europe to the heart of Jerusalem.
DAY 1 (FRIDAY)
The Zero One Festival hosts Radio Musrara, for an afternoon of performances and DJ sets within the tower. Radio Musrara is an independent internet radio, founded and operated by past and present students of the new music department of the Musrara school for art.
DAY 2 (SATURDAY)
A journey through the citadel’s passage ways leads to live performances from leading international digital artists from Austria, France and Holland where AI, big data, digital music and live acoustic instrumental music plumb the depths of the ocean to the outer limits of the stratosphere to bring an intense experience outdoors under Jerusalem’s night skies.
DAY 3 (SUNDAY)
An evening of conversations and experiences from the top of the tower. Thoughts and reflections on our place and the place of art in a world of code-based systems, and then diving into the sounds and visions of the mathematics behind nature that are digitally and musically processed into performances.
