The museum is located ten minutes off the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv highway, just outside Beit Shemesh, and pre-booking is required. On Sukkot they also have kids’ craft activities and a kosher on-site sukkah (downstairs).
The museum is the brainchild of Rabbi Slifkin. His knowledge of the animal kingdom and how it connects to stories in the Bible is unsurpassed and now he has found a way to share it with kids, teens and adults at the new Biblical Museum of Natural History.
Tours run every 1.5 hours.
Tours can be arranged with advanced reservation only.
For groups over 40, tours can be arranged on erev chag.
