This beautiful museum which combines modern architecture and ancient ruins can be found at the exit of the Western Wall just before the Dung Gate. Here you will learn about ancient Jerusalem in the time of the 2nd Temple. When you step outside into the archaeological park you will find remains of arches, Jerusalem’s main shopping street, ritual baths and more. Each stone tells a story of Jerusalem during a different period.
The museum features indoor (and well air-conditioned) exhibits of ancient findings including oil lamps, pottery and ancient coins.
