Week 1: Introduction to Creativity with Clay

Kick off the summer with a creative bang! Your child will decorate their own apron, craft clay name plates, make custom slime, bake cookies, and personalize bracelets or keychains. A field trip to the Biblical Zoo and engaging activities like rock painting and recycling everyday objects as art ensure a fun-filled week.

Week 2: Getting to Know Nature Through Art

Discover the beauty of nature through art. Activities include a botanical clay workshop, painting pots and planting seeds, and creating tissue paper flowers. The highlight of the week is a strawberry-picking field trip, followed by a picnic in the park, a bean hunt, and a newspaper gift game.

Week of 3: Judaica Art

Celebrate Jewish culture and traditions through art. Projects include crafting clay mezuzahs, a candle wax project, personalized water bottles, tie-dye, and mod-podging challah boards. A visit to the Bloomfield Science Museum and activities like challah baking and painting tzedakah boxes round out the week.

Week 4: The Land of Israel

Explore the wonders of Israel through creative projects like sand art, sheva minim still life, melted crayon art, and glass painting of the Beit Hamikdash. Enjoy a hike with a special ice cream treat afterward, and paint your view of the Holy Land.

Week of July 28th: Creative Week

Unleash your imagination during Creative Week! Make your own storybook, create clay characters, and paint self-portraits. The week features baking and decorating cupcakes, paint throwing on canvas in the park, decoupage. Camp culminates with a pizza party on the last day of the session.
